When it comes to getting a healthy dinner on the table on busy weeknights I can always count on my slow cooker.
Setting aside a few minutes in the morning or the evening before to prep ingredients means that dinner is ready and waiting at the end of the day, which is the most amazing thing at the end of a long day. It really is the best thing ever.
I use this slow cooker because it has a timer that can be set for a specified amount of cooking time, and then automatically switches to "warm" to keep the food the perfect temperature without overcooking.

To get an extra jump on the week I also like to prepare a few easy slow cooker meals during the weekend to pop in the freezer so we always have dinner on hand.
